Hey, I'mArtiom Sobolev

I create living solutions out of ideas, contradictions, and real-world challenges.

A bit about me

Describing myself isn’t easy, but if I had to keep it short: I was born on 22 November 1984 in Tallinn, Estonia, where I spent my childhood and teenage years. Since 2005, I’ve been living in the United Kingdom, which has become my second home. I speak Russian and English fluently, and I also understand some Estonian and Lithuanian.

I have a multicultural background and a wide network of contacts with people from various countries and walks of life. I prefer a non-hierarchical approach, treat people as equals, and try to understand the perspective they come from. I often look for common ground, even if it doesn’t always succeed. I’m analytical, enjoy creating structure and planning, while also staying creative. Solving problems of different kinds and levels of complexity is one of the ways I connect with others.

My strengths lie in observation, reflection, and making logical connections. When things feel unclear or confusing, I’m often the one who brings clarity.

This analytical tendency has naturally become part of my professional approach. I care about creating things that genuinely work for the people they’re intended for.

I help align efforts, identify internal points of support, and set things in motion, through research, understanding of context, and building meaningful logic that supports shared decisions.

Who I’ve had the chance to work with

I’ve worked within teams at companies, agencies, and on the contractor side. Some projects were short, others lasted for years. Every collaboration left something important.

How I work

I integrate into processes, adapt to tasks, and act based on the context. I take initiative when needed and support the overall direction when required.

I don’t limit myself to one area. I design, configure, analyze, assemble, and work with both people and systems.

I choose tools based on the situation, stay grounded in reality, and focus on results. In personal projects, I handle the entire cycle from idea and structure to implementation and presentation. At the core of everything is the task, the meaning, and what actually works.

Recent work

Projects I’ve participated in and contributed to in different ways.

If the way I think and work resonates with you, there’s a chance we could create something meaningful together. I can be of help where clarity, structure, or a sense of purpose is needed, whether in projects that feel tangled, in the search for form, or simply when there’s a wish to build something thoughtful. I’m also open to personal conversations, especially when there’s a need to reflect or see things from a different angle.
